Littles experienced a unique outing with San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Our friends at 106 KMEL extended an invitation for 3 of our matches to attend the Colin Kaepernick Football Camp in Pacifica. Kaepernick is the young quarterback who led the San Francisco 49ers to the Superbowl this year. Along with 300 other 2nd through 8th graders, our Littles got the chance to learn the fundamental skills of the game from a NFL star with their Bigs cheering them on from the stands.
Little Brother Justin: “I was invited to the Colin Kaepernick camp and had the best time ever. My Big Melvin took me to meet him and I will never forget the memories made. I met Colin and listened to his input on how to up my game. We had a Superbowl for each age division and Colin threw me a pass and I caught it in the end zone and won the Superbowl! It was like a dream catching that ball from Kaepernick and hearing the crowd cheer for me. Thank you Big Brothers and Sisters for making this one of the best days of my life. You are awesome.
